”I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Inheriting the Kingdom of God
Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15:50, declared that our mortal bodies that are made out of dust are incapable of inheriting or being admitted into the kingdom of God. He also added that they are incapable of inheriting the imperishable (heaven).
In other words, our present bodies are not capable of existing in the glorious after-life state. Therefore, either a transformation (glorification) through resurrection after death or Jesus Christ’s second coming (rapture – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) is necessary for admission into heaven. And this is an assurance for all believers (the Church).
Prayer
Lord God, I thank You for assuring me that I will inherit your kingdom. I rest in this assurance with the knowledge that You will faithfully keep me till your appointed time. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
Prayer to Receive and Believe in Jesus Christ
Father God, I desire to inherit Your kingdom. Therefore, I confess that I am a sinner who is separated from you. I am truly sorry and would like to turn away from my sinful past to you. Please forgive me of my sins and keep me away from temptation and sin.
I believe Your only Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, and is alive. I invite You Jesus to come into my life and become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
