”29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Get Down Out of the Boat
In Matthew 14:29-30, Jesus obliged Peter to “get down out of the boat“, and onto the water. And Peter did, and actually walked on the water of the raging sea.
You too can walk on the water of the sea that is the unknown or uncertain territory. Just like Peter, you too can obey and take a huge leap of faith based on the word of Jesus Christ: “Come”. You can get down out of the boat, which is your comfort zone, take the hand of Jesus and walk on the water of your unknown territory, which is known to Jesus.
Once you get down out of the security of your boat, God will begin to reveal His perfect plan. He will walk with you every step you’ll take in moving toward the fullness of your desire or purpose.
In the territory of the unknown, it is all about walking (living) by faith. You have to have faith that God will provide everything you need as you walk. That, you can ask for the impossible (supernatural), and God will grant your request (Ephesians 3:20).
It takes courage to ask God for that which looks impossible. But such courage is the product of faith in Jesus Christ, the author, and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
May you be encouraged to get down out of your boat and onto the water. God is waiting to lead you. His plan is so much greater than what you have ever imagined or thought.
Prayer/Blessing
Lord, God who does the impossible, I worship You. Help me rely on Your mighty power when it comes to impossible situations too. I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
