Hebrews 4:14 ~ Hold Firmly to the Faith
Hebrews 4:14 exhorts us to “Hold Firmly to the Faith“. This is based on the fact that Jesus is currently at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. Remember, this is the position that He ascended into after resurrecting from death. He is therefore our personal advocate and the best defense “lawyer”.
Thus, we hold firmly and confidently to the fact/reality that Jesus is our Great High Priest. And since He is our High Priest, we know that He lives to guarantee our lives as well. A fact that makes us live with confidence and also approach God’s throne with the same (Hebrews 4:16).
