”Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

How to Possess the Kingdom
Matthew 19:14 lets us in on how to position ourselves to receive and possess the Kingdom of Heaven. And it involves acknowledging that you are needy before the Lord. In so doing, you will possess the Kingdom of God.
Moreso, this is based on the fact that God is after those who have acknowledged that they are either sinners or sick, or oppressed. Those who have acknowledged that they are burdened, and are in need of a Saviour (Matthew 11:28).
Therefore, the kingdom belongs to the needy ones. They are the ones that Jesus likened to children. For in the preceding verse (Matthew 19:13), while Jesus was carrying out His earthly ministry, some children were brought to Him so that He could lay hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples tried to turn them away, and this displeased Jesus (Mark 10:14).
Child-like Faith
Consequently, as believers, we are being exhorted to be like children whose faith does not know rationality. Moreover, children are humble and simple in their demeanor, which should accompany our faith.
Therefore, you have to love and trust God to meet your needs according to His will. He is always willing to bless you, just like He wanted to bless the children. John 6:37 reveals that “He will never drive away whoever goes to Him”.
Trust (faith), then, becomes the critical means of your survival (Romans 1:17 and Hebrews 11:6). It facilitates humility and submission before God. Which is what He desires of you.
Prayer/Blessing
Lord, I receive You and Your kingdom wholeheartedly. Help me to fully depend on You day after day. I pray this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
May God enable you to have a child-like faith. Amen.
