God is able to restore your health
Psalm 41:3 states that God is able to restore your health because He helps the helpless who call upon Him. Therefore, if you are sick, especially chronically, you can look up to, call on, and trust God for healing. And He will do it for you.
God is merciful enough to restore your health. Compassion is His signature. He will be your strength and bring you healing, and He will comfort and sustain you.
Therefore, God will change your situation according to the perfect plan he has for you. There is only so much that medicines and related drugs can do. Most often than not, they cannot cure illnesses that have a spiritual connection (James 5:14-16).
This is why you need to call on and depend on God and His mercy in your helplessness. Because God will surely restore you. He is able to sustain you on your sickbed. And He is also able to restore you to the fullness of health.
Additionally, your bed of sickness can refer to a difficult situation, stress, worry, a hard time, financial debt, an unforgiving heart, bitterness, sin, or loss. Remember that God will be there to intervene in and change your situation. Psalm 34:18 says that “He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Therefore, invite God into your bed of sickness and allow His goodness, mercy, and grace to penetrate every part of your being or situation. This will turn your situation around, from languishing to comfort, love, peace, and joy.
Prayer/Blessing
Lord, I thank You for Your mercy. Please heal me of my sickness and make me whole. I pray for the restoration of my health in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
May you gain the confidence to trust the Lord for restoration, even for your loved ones. Amen.
